“When I was a child, some of my fondest memories were performing in the bathroom for hours under the bright heat lamp. I would sing my heart out to my fictitious audience. In my journey, I’ve come to learn that what brings me the most joy is to inspire others with my voice.”

Nika was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and is fluent in English and Spanish. Her accents are neutral in both languages. Having a strong passion to act and sing, Nika was always involved with classes and various performances throughout her youth.

Later she earned a Linguistics degree from Cal State Fullerton and worked as a translator. Eventually, under the direction of Gary Imhoff, Nika acquired musical theatre experience while expanding her acting skills. Realizing that her voice moved people, it organically led her to fall in love with voiceover. She trained with Tish Hicks at the VO Dojo and the Voicecastor in Burbank, CA. Nika has taken an array of vocalization courses with instructors including Bob Bergen, Marsha Goodman, and Ned Lott; also coached by Michael Bell and linguistics coach, Faith Rumor.

Nika’s talent in musical theatre has been a source which has helped expand her skills in animation, commercials, promos, and station imaging. Nika’s voice can be described as whimsical, full of innocence, humorous and a generous spirit.  Yet it can be dramatic, intelligent yet mood uplifting.
